As a group we were looking for an opportunity to serve and help others in our community. Many times there are opportunities to serve after a disaster or a tragedy in other cities or helping others in third world countries, when so often the need is right where we live and may even be in our very own backyard. We as a group are wanting to open our eyes to the lives that are around us and to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community. The first helping project our eyes were opened to happens to be in our small group, GreenGroup.
God has placed it on our hearts to assist others in need and this family has a financial medical need that we would like to fulfill. We are asking for your help in being able to provide for this mission. We have several opportunities for you to be able to do so. One way is through a yard sale on June 11th. We are asking for items to be donated to be sold at the sale (Greenville,SC area) and ALL the proceeds will go to help this family.
